The first table tennis tournament on campus was on July 3, 2026 – a complete success for the community

A complete success for the community: Fun, games, and the smell of barbecue at the inauguration of our new table tennis table!

What a wonderful afternoon! In perfect weather, we recently celebrated a small but delightful event that still brings a smile to all our faces. The occasion was a very special one: Our brand-new table tennis table was officially inaugurated!

A punctual start with shining children’s eyes

Right from the start, the anticipation was huge. Two children from the house could hardly wait and were ready way ahead of time to send the first balls across the net. The excitement was contagious! During the afternoon, another child joined in, and quickly some great, action-filled rallies developed.

Culinary highlights and pleasant encounters

What would an inauguration be without some fitting refreshment? Vita’s gas grill was in top form and served us fantastically. The smell of freshly grilled sausages lured everyone

Even two older ladies from the neighborhood stopped by as they were passing, enjoyed a tasty sausage on the go, and livened up the afternoon with a pleasant chat. Later in the afternoon, a small group of teenagers (3–4 people) joined us as well, making the day’s diverse mix perfect. Space for exchange and togetherness It was particularly nice to see how the event was used as a meeting point. Our colleagues took advantage of the relaxed atmosphere to quietly connect with their clients, have casual conversations, and simply spend quality time together. It’s exactly for these moments of encounter that we do this work! Our conclusion: The ping-pong table has been inaugurated, the grill has been fired up, and we have collectively created valuable moments within our community.
